The Academy of Music at St. Francis in the Fields offers excellent musical instruction with a faculty of highly trained musicians who are committed to teaching. Instruction is offered through private lessons, monthly performance classes, recitals, and master classes.

The September Performance Class will be held on Saturday, September 20, not the original date which was the week before. The times will be the same: 10:00 - 11:15 for the younger group and 11:30 - 12:45 for the older group.
We will have special guests at this class. Austin Clark and Nico Fortin from Bourbon Baroque will be there to accompany baroque dancer, Caroline Copeland. Caroline will specifically address the Minuet dance form, as it is easily grasped by musicians and is familiar. She is going to address history and gesture. She will then end with improvisation and a brief example. This will be a great opportunity for us and our students!
